Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast cloudy weather and rainfall across various parts of the country today. The ongoing influence of monsoon winds is causing the monsoon low-pressure line to remain in an average area, impacting the weather nationwide.

According to the latest weather bulletin, Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces are experiencing generally to fully cloudy conditions, while the rest of the provinces are partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rainfall is currently occurring in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Throughout the day, the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country. There is a high likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in several areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected at one or two locations in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, light to moderate rainfall is anticipated in a few places across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Moreover, heavy rainfall is predicted at one or two spots in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Department has urged all concerned to remain alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during these weather conditions.
